The Dark Side of Lasik Vision Correction

5. Lasik can impede future eye disease diagnosis and treatment. For instance, precise intraocular pressure measurement to diagnose glaucoma is difficult if the patient underwent Lasik in the past. Lasik can also impede in the treatment of cataract.
Though there is various literature that claims the validity of Lasik complications, there are an equal amount of happy people who can validate the benefits of Lasik. If you’re keen on having the procedure done, the first thing you can do to minimize the Lasik risks is to find an experienced surgeon to do the procedure, and ask him or her about all the pros and cons of Lasik surgery.
